Ice Energy are delighted to announce the signing of a new contract which will generate hundreds of thousands of pounds in revenue for a major housing association over the next seven years.
The contract to install multiple ground source heat pumps in the properties within the next three months will not only provide cost-effective heating and lower energy bills for residents, it will be one of many similar projects which stand to benefit from Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) payments thanks to the installation of heat pump systems from Ice Energy.
Ice Energy Founder and Managing Director Andrew Sheldon said “We are delighted to have signed this contract which is the latest in a series of projects on which we have worked with this particular organisation.
“One of the obvious benefits to them is improved standards of heating and lower running costs for their residents but when you also factor in the substantial level of income available from the RHI over the next seven years, it’s easy to see why housing associations are embracing this technology.”
Mr. Sheldon did issue a word of warning though saying “While the RHI can offer considerable income, as adoption levels grow the risk of the tariff levels being reduced increases. So, those housing associations that missed out on generous PV tariffs after the rates were reduced several years ago have now been given another fantastic opportunity to benefit provided they act swiftly to secure payments at today’s rates.”
